Because of the increased use of social media and online forums during Covid-19, people's comments, images, postings, and other content are frequently seen by both acquaintances and complete strangers. Bullying that occurs online, such as on computers, tablets, and mobile phones, is referred to as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can happen online through social media, forums, or gaming where users can read, interact with, or exchange content. It can also happen through SMS, Text, and applications. Sending, posting, or disseminating unfavourable, hurtful, or malicious content about someone else is considered cyberbullying. It may involve disclosing sensitive information about another person in a way that causes embarrassment or humiliation, or it may even result in suicides. Due to its potential to be persistent, permanent, and difficult to discover, cyberbullying raises special problems. The following topics will be covered in the Webinar: Am i being bullied online? Cyberbullying effects; How can I get help? How can I eliminate online bullying without giving up my Internet access? Are there children's anti-cyberbullying tools? We have asked three experts to discuss the cause and prevention of cyberbullying as well as some of the issues mentioned at UN's SGD No. 4: Quality Education in order to better understand why this behaviour negatively affects people.
